Director of Group Finance

HedgerWay are currently partnered with a globally renowned company based in Central London in the recruitment of a newly created Director of Group Finance position.

The company has c.$4bn turnover, operates over 3,700 locations in more than 120 counties and has 10,000+ employees globally. They are now seeking a highly skilled and experienced finance leader to join the business in this newly created Director of Group Finance position.

Reporting into the CFO and working closely with the CEO, my client is positioning this role as someone to step up into the CFO role within the next 2 years. This is a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial statements, as well as providing strategic financial guidance to support business objectives.

The company are also looking to list in the US within the next 12 – 18 months, opening more avenues for continued global growth, so require someone with a strong background in US GAAP and experience of working closely with shared service centres.

The ideal candidate will be fully qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) and have 10+ years of relevant accounting experience. Experience of IFRS, US GAAP and working with a shared service centre environment are all highly desirable.  They are also looking for someone that has a proven track record of managing financial reporting, audits and internal controls within a global organisation.
