Internal Controls Manager

They operate across multiple overseas jurisdictions, servicing clients in over 40 countries and this newly created opportunity sits in the company’s London Head Office.

This newly created Internal Controls Manager role is working within an exciting and fasted paced business and delivers internal assurance to senior management in the form of a programme of internal controls. The programme will not be limited in its scope but will focus on key areas of risk to the business including commercial and operational aspects plus regulatory compliance and financial crime. The role reports to the Head of Audit and will liaise closely with the Risk Managers and Credit Risk Officer in helping manage risk effectively across the business a part of the wider risk management framework. The role offers exposure from day one to senior management across the business and over time will be responsible for developing and delivering the testing programme and reporting the results to senior management and relevant boards (audit/risk committees).

The ideal candidate will hold an accounting qualification with strong internal audit, risk and control background either from practice or from experience post qualification. Its advantageous to have worked with Financial Services or listed clients or within the FS space.
