About the Role
We are seeking an immediately available Interim Financial Reporting Consultant to support a high-profile, and rapidly-growing organisation, based in Leeds. This is a key role focused on M&A integration, financial reporting processes, year-end close, statutory accounting, and financial reporting improvement projects. Reporting directly to the Group FC and CFO, the ideal interim will play a crucial role in delivering project and process success whilst ensuring year end and statutory reporting is managed over the next 6 month period.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support the year-end accounting process, ensuring timely and accurate financial statements.
- Oversee statutory accounting and ensure compliance with UK GAAP, SOX accounting etc.
- Prepare and review monthly and quarterly financial reports for Group FC, ensuring accuracy and integrity of financial data.
- Assist with the preparation of year-end financial statements, tax filings, and external audits.
- Work closely with the CFO and finance team on financial reporting projects and process improvements.
- Lead and deliver financial reporting best-in-class for the M&A integrations.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls.
Key Requirements:
- Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent with proven experience in financial control and reporting.
- Strong knowledge of statutory accounting, financial reporting, and audit processes.
- Previous experience in managing year-end accounting and reporting projects.
- Ability to work independently, manage competing projects, and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication skills and ability to engage with senior leadership.

Note: This role is outside IR35 and offers a daily rate of £450 - £550. Immediate availability is mandatory.
