Senior Associate - Internal Controls

HedgerWay are currently partnered with one of the UKs leading Property companies in the recruitment of an Internal Controls Senior Associate based in Central London.

They are the developer of the largest urban regeneration project in Europe and currently develops, manages and owns interests in approximately 9 million square feet of mixed-use space and over 1,000+ Build to Rent apartments.

As Senior Associate, you will play a key role in the design, implementation, and ongoing monitoring of the Group’s internal control framework, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and operational excellence. This position will also involve co-ordinating with internal audit functions, ensuring robust risk management and effective governance across the business. The role requires a detail-orientated professional with experience of internal controls and audit practices.

The role will report directly to the Senior Manager – Internal Controls but also have significant interaction with the Associate Director – Group Finance and Group Financial Controller as well as other senior stakeholders across the business. The role will be required to report to the Risk Management Committee and Audit Committee on a quarterly basis.

The ideal candidate will be fully qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) and have experience in internal controls, audit or risk management. Experience within Property and Real Estate would be beneficial, not essential.
