M&A Director

We are partnering exclusively with a leading international developer in the renewable energy space on a high-impact hire. This is a rare opportunity to join the business during a pivotal moment, supporting a strategic transaction in Italy and working closely with senior leadership and institutional investors.

This newly created role will suit an M&A or project finance professional with experience leading complex deals, ideally within energy, infrastructure, or related sectors.

The Opportunity:

You will play a central role in delivering a major transaction in Italy. This includes full lifecycle M&A execution, valuation work, project development support, and investor engagement. The role will be London-based with regular travel to Milan.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end deal processes

• Conduct in-depth financial modelling and project valuations

• Negotiate key contractual agreements (SPA, loan agreements, etc.)

• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to drive execution

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven M&A or project finance experience, ideally having led multiple transactions

• Strong financial modelling and structuring skills

• Exposure to the renewables, infrastructure, or broader energy space

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities

• Fluency in Italian is highly advantageous

Additional Info:

• Contract role due to the nature of a key bid process – strong likelihood of going permanent if successful

• Frequent travel to Milan will be expected (every few weeks)

• Immediate start preferred
