Tom O’Reilly joins HedgerWay as Associate Director, bringing an additional 7 years’ of experience to the HedgerWay portfolio. A graduate in Marketing from the University of Bournemouth,  Based in London, Tom excels in recruiting top talent for the Senior Finance market focused on the energy, natural resources and infrastructure sectors. Tom is committed to aiding clients in achieving strategic goals by introducing high-impact performers.

Tom is a keen scuba diver, previously spending a year as a scuba dive instructor out in Indonesia. Alongside this, he is a Liverpool fan and enjoys going for long walks to the pub with his wife and two miniature dachshunds.

Renewable Energy, US Listed | Group Financial Controller, London

  • Brief: a US-listed multinational business is recruiting a Group Financial Controller to lead financial reporting, manage and develop the group finance function and be a key support to the CFO. 
  • Successful Profile: A technically strong controller from an ACA background with exposure to US GAAP and complex accounting challenges in a mid-sized corporate.

Listed infrastructure business | Group Finance Director, London

  • Brief: A high profile appointment for the group. The role had a direct reporting line to the Managing Director and a functional reporting line to the Group Chief Financial Officer. As Finance Director of Infrastructure, they would be expected to implement a progressive finance strategy, to support the delivery of great results for the division.
  • Successful Profile:  An experienced Commercial Finance Director with a track record in a senior financial leadership role, in a related industry. Broad commercial awareness, credible in a business context.

Multinational high-growth energy business | Head of FP&A, London

  • Brief: Reporting to the CFO this role is a newly created role in their HQ as the team further develops, its focus is to drive commercial awareness in the business and align the FP&A function to the organisation's strategic goals, managing a team of 4.
  • Successful Profile: A qualified accountant from a large or high-growth company background. A demonstrable experience of implementing robust commercial processes, as well as staff management.
