About the Role

Working for a global PE backed services business as  Technical Reporting Manager will provide active oversight and technical support to the regions, with a focus on technical acconting, IFRS and accounting policy matters. You will work closely with the Group Financial Controller and other key stakeholders, leading policy assessment for M&A opportunities and integrations, as well as the adoption of new IFRS rules and standards across the group.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical accounting expertise and oversight on IFRS and other reporting requirements.
  • Assess accounting policies for potential M&A transactions and ensure smooth integration in alignment with group standards.
  • Work with regional teams to implement and ensure compliance with global accounting policies, advising on technical issues as they arise.
  • Actively monitor new IFRS rules and standards, leading adoption and ensuring compliance throughout the business.
  • Set accounting policies in collaboration with the Group Financial Controller, maintaining a strong internal control environment

You'll be ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent with excellent accounting policy experience, more specifically IFRS. Previous work around complex transaction, acquistions and contracts would also be beneficial with exposure to International businesses.
