About the Role
High growth PE-backed, Real Estate / Infrastructure Assets Development business in Central London, is seeking a recently qualified ACA finance professional, with solid Finance and Data analytics experience to join its dynamic finance team as a FP&A Analyst.
Reporting to the Group FP&A Manager in a FP&A team of 5, this is a busy and challenge role, but one which offers significant career progression potential.
This is a key global role where you will work closely with the Group FP&A Manager, Finance Business Partners and FP&A Director.
Main responsibilities
- Ensure a smooth and accurate month end close, including project management and taking ownership of a commercial review of certain aspects of the Income Statement.
- Assist in institutionalizing reporting to match the requirements of new stakeholders
- Present monthly P&Ls, highlighting key risks and opportunities, driving value and working closely with the commercial team. Follow up action items with the relevant owners.
- Contribute to the monthly reforecasting process.
- Support the business units to drive strategic decision-making, analysis and business development.
- Lead on budget template financial modelling.
- Take responsibility for certain Functional areas of the budget, co-ordinating across key stakeholders.
- Assist with the ERP implementation, expected to conclude in H2 2025.
- PowerBI dashboard oversight.
Qualifications and experience
- Preference for ACA Qualified (other qualifications considered)
- Some analytical post qualified experience, be that a Finance / FP&A Analyst role in Industry, or by achieveing a move into a more analytically focussed team within Practice (Transaction Services, Modelling, Consultancy, Corporate Finance etc)
- Strong financial modelling and analytical skills
- Familiarity with Power BI a plus
- Comfort working in a global business with complex group structure
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
