About Me
Tom often hears the phrase, "There’s nothing worse than estate agents or recruiters." It's a sentiment he's encountered many times when mentioning his profession—understandably so, given the negative experiences many have had with ghosting, high-pressure sales tactics, poorly informed consultants, and cut-throat recruiters. More than once, it made him question whether he should stay in the industry or explore a different path.
But having chosen to stay (at least for now), Tom has made it his mission to break the stereotype. He believes recruitment is far more than just sending CVs—it’s about building strong partnerships, offering real expertise, and creating a seamless experience for both clients and candidates. His goal is to make hiring and job searching as stress-free, transparent, and tailored as possible.
With four years of experience in London’s "real assets" market, Tom has recruited across real estate, infrastructure, and renewables. He joined HedgerWay to build out its "Future Finance" offering, focusing on helping newly qualified finance professionals find fulfilling careers within the sector. While always learning, he takes pride in being a trusted resource for hiring, career advice, and market intelligence.
Outside of work Tom is an avid traveller (having travelled around SE Asia for four months) hiker, pub-goer and runner (providing its not to cold.)
