Financial Accountant

A leading organisation is seeking a Financial Accountant to join its growing Finance team based in London.

As Financial Accountant, you will report to the Finance Manager and play a key role in supporting the preparation of financial results, forecasts, and performance measures for the group. Responsibilities include balance sheet reconciliations, preparing accounting adjustments, maintaining the fixed asset register, and assisting with cash flow forecasting, VAT, and corporation tax preparation. You will also work closely with Finance Administrators to oversee accounts payable and receivable processes.

The ideal candidate will be qualified (ACCA, ACA, or equivalent) with prior experience in bookkeeping or accounting. Proficiency in Excel, Sage or SAP, and ERP systems is required, while experience in the construction or engineering sectors is beneficial but not essential.
