About the Role
We have been retained on the above search for a PE backed FMCG client in Bristol. Having recently gone through a period of significant change and with improved trading conditions, the Director of FP&A requires a forward thinking, highly commercial number 2.
This is a newly created role which will require you to provide financial support, together with robust challenge, to the areas of the business within the remit of the Chief Commercial Officer (Buying, Merchandising and Marketing).
The objective of the role is to identify opportunities to maximise profitability and inventory turn through the provision of reporting, analysis, and governance. The role will partner with key stakeholders in the Commercial team to ensure the consistent use of data to make sound, evidence-based decisions.
Previous retail/FMCG experience is highly desirable. The business are office based 2 days per week and the remainder working remotely.
